streets in Croatia

it is not easy to cycle on the streets . most of the time they are only
in an acceptable condition for
cars but not for bikes. you have to be careful all the time especially if other trucks or cars overtake you. the rights side of the street is in a really bad condition. good to have a mirror on the bar ends.

it was partly dangerous to cycle on the B54. many trucks overtook me and it was not funny. Behind Gleisdorf it was much easier to cycle. more possibilities to watch the beautiful landscape of the Steiermark.

Arrival in Krems an der Donau

now, after 415km within four and a half day I arrived in Krems. I stay here at Susanne. I know her from my visit in Australia in 2007 and she is very lovely. She inspired me to live my dream. She is a Yoga-teacher and NUAD practitioner and she will help me to relax. until today it was a great trip. It is unbelievable, how friendly people are.  As a cyclist you always have an excellent possibility to contact other people and they are very interested in my story. Especially elder people are a little bit jealous of my decision to start a new life.

than the last days . only 85 km but it was
quite more interesting. the trip was along the river Donau. in Passau I had an interview with Lucile Poulteau from the Passauer newspaper. seems
thaty trip is not common ;-)

arrival in Deggendorf

after 100 km with permanent rain and 5 degrees centigrade i arrived in a guesthouse in Deggendorf. it was a little bit a painful day . i had to the position of my saddle. you can have the best saddle but if the position is wrong it makes no fun. well now it is much better . ok that's it . time to sleep

touchdown in Landshut

this was real exhausting day. start in Munich at 930 and my neighbours gave a small goodbye-party. it was so nice. i left them and i was extremely sad. them i went to my brothers family . well not
to see them especially my nevieuw Paul 2 years old , is not
very
easy. after 7 hours on my bike with permanent rain it was a really tough ttrip. now i have dinner in a greece restaurant . i have to sleep as soon as possible . the early bird is waiting ;-)

last evening before departure

well this is my last evening in Munich.there was so much to organize. on the one hand I am extremely excited on the other hand I am sad to leave my family and my friends.
